Hear my prayer

 God why am I here?

I want to feel  You near

I need your perfect peace to reside within

To take from me this sin

To contemplate Your holiness

To have in You completeness

I grow tired, so weary

These days are grey and so dreary

I do not want to leave Your will

My  heart, Your Holy Spirit will fill

I can’t stop worshiping You during this time

For You fill me with peace so divine

I can not see beyond today

So my burdens at Your feet I lay

Rest my head in Your lap

The joy You give leads me to sing, dance and clap

Please, Lord never leave me here alone

Please never take from me this eternal hope and home

I won’t last a breath without You

Make Your Presence fresh like the morning dew

God I feel so unwanted in this night

I need Your sword to press through this fight

You are the one I kneel before and pray

Please Lord Jesus keep me through this I say

When daylight comes let me have peace at its fullest

May my heart rejoice for you saved from distress

On You I lean, into You I press
