Weak for He is Strong

I look and see so many lured

By the enticement of this world

Lives that sin has taken

For fleeting fun, we become mistaken

We say we are strong people

But what is strong? And what is feeble?

Strength is to stand when no one else will

Feeble is to give in, and just go with what you feel

We are all weak and not able to live this life on our own

For the reason that we were never created to be alone

Our purpose in this world is to have relationship with God

And not to just give Him a passing nod

To have a true heart for the one who made us

To stop giving into our flesh and own lust

Worship comes through a soul who desires to please

Not one who looks to the world, but from it flees

How tired must you be?

Before you really open your eyes and see

That to be strong is not to do it in your own strength

True strength is to allow Christ to run the length
