Dreaming often seems like a dare
The grass is greener, look across and compare
We have a craving for success
But open those eyes...we digress
Distracted by our own pride
Fear of rejection, is consistently spiritual suicide
A diagnosis of our hearts true intents
What happened to wisdom, where went common sense
We are Babylon and we will fall
If you've heard the message, then you've received the call
To believe that Jesus is the Son of God, Holy and Risen
How selfish a people, to hold back from the One who became crimson
He, who laid down His life physically
We, should cry out Father take all of me!
Love for Christ who loved us first
He's known us since before birth
A purpose received, felt from the inside out
To walk in trust, and relationship, believe and never doubt
Feel the tug on your heart, a nudging that it is true
The Holy Spirit is calling you
Set aside everything, you know He's leading
He draws closer the more you are seeking
