Increased Understanding

Psalm 119:32 " I will eagerly pursue Your commandments because You continue to increase my understanding."-- God's Word translation

The Holy Spirit is our help, through Him we begin to grasp the mysteries of God. We begin to understand what it is that God wants and desires. As the Holy Spirit draws us ever closer to the King we find ourselves longing to be even more in tune with Him then ever before. The more intimate we become with Christ the more a natural desire to follow after His ways takes hold of us and we find that it is not a chore to follow God but a wonderful opportunity to serve our Risen King. As we spend and devote our time to HIm, we see life through another set of lenses. We take off the desires that please the flesh, and seek after the desires that please the Spirit. We begin to rely on God for every prompting. We begin to recognize His voice and His ways. Things that we once saw as just events, or coincidence become Christ centered and we understanding His reasoning behind what is going on. Pause and think upon how you are pursuing God, is He getting our all or just a small portion? What if you did give your all?
